Jessica and Eric… wow. They’re fun. They’re a great looking couple. And they know how to have fun while throwing a great party.

Candice from Jubilee Events put together a beautiful event as usual… but the highlight, um, ok, my highlight, was the huge candy display awaiting guests as they left, stocked with everything from chocolates to rock candy. And all color coordinated too! Awesome! Right now Candice is reading this, and saying to herself… “5000 details I kept straight and all he remembers is the candy!”

After hearing her name as one of the area’s top photographers, I finally got a chance to work with Carla Ten Eyck — and she did not disappoint. She was fun, she was easy-going, and above all else, does some amazing work. Check out her blog post of Jessica & Eric’s wedding. Halfway through the reception, she busted out a slideshow of some shots from the day, and people just stood there with their jaws on the floor.

Enjoy the highlights, and congratulations to an awesome couple!

Kelly and Michael’s wedding was fantastic, and they were awesome to work with too! A great combo for capturing great footage. After the ceremony in Shelton, it was up north to The Candlewood Inn for the reception. If you’re considering booking The Candlewood Inn, stop considering and do it! Maitre’de Christian is awesome to work with, and will make sure your day is perfect. And as usual, working with Eric Langlois of Raw Photo Design made my work a lot easier, as his creativity ran wild, I got to look super creative too!

When someone says they’re getting married in February, you picture snow storms and dodging slushy puddles as you run into the church to get out of the cold. Well, Maureen and Joe’s day was awesome! It was unseasonably warm and sunny, which enabled us to get some unexpected outdoor footage at The Wadsworth Mansion.

The included interview footage came from a quick NYC shoot we did in Central Park. Maureen and Joe were fantastic to work with, and their beautiful wedding day was a pleasure to be a part of. Enjoy.

After sharing space with an accountant (no offense Chris) for the past 2 years, I’m psyched to be in a creative space where couples can relax, kick their feet up, and check out our work in our ‘consultation lounge’…

I’m not alone though… sharing The Studio is Eric Langlois of Raw Photo Design, and Candice Dowling of Jubilee Events. Eric hangs his awesome work, Candice decorates and brings in fresh flowers and I…. um, I guess I benefit from working with great vendors like them. If you’d like to stop in, we’d love to see you, but give us a call first, as we’re available by appointment only.

Ignoring instincts that tell you not to enter a building that could fall down at any moment, as well as no trespassing signs, I jumped at the opportunity to film Eric of Raw Photo Design as he photographed Candice (of Jubilee Events).

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Raw Photo Design, prepare to be blown away. Eric’s work manages to combine a contemporary style with an undeniable emotional element. OK, I’ll stop trying to put into words what you can scroll down and check out for yourself…
